Bli Bli has recently witness the unveiling of the eagerly-awaited third and final stage of its Village Town Centre. Headlining this development is the $32 million Bli Bli Hotel, a collaborative venture between renowned Sunshine Coast hotelier Scott Armstrong and Developer, Michael White. The Bli Bli Hotel is set to be the latest feather in the cap for the family-operated Sunshine Coast Hotels Group, which already has popular venues including Baringa Tavern, Parklands Tavern, Brightwater Tavern, and The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast.
The multi-faceted tavern spans a generous 2,350m2. Patrons can expect a ground-level drive-through bottle shop, and a middle-level gaming lounge complete with poker machines, TAB, keno, and bar facilities. The crown jewel, however, is the top level, designed for food and beverage services. It will house a spacious sports bar with TAB, a bistro, a function room, children’s area, and a deck bar featuring a retractable roof. Spread over three levels, the Mediterranean-themed establishment will boast a rooftop terrace and an exotic tropical garden-style events area. The hotel’s design, blending Australian and Mediterranean aesthetics, includes a captivating four-meter pink blossom tree alongside a private dining zone.
Additional amenities to the centre include 156 undercover parking spaces and eight one-bedroom short-term lodgings (Bli Bli Suites) situated on the fifth floor, a Juice Bar (Health Junkee Juice Bar), a Homewares store (Society Three Home Group) and a Tobacconist (TSG). Developer Michael White expressed his enthusiasm, stating that the Bli Bli Hotel completes the $50 million Bli Bli Village development vision. This development has rapidly become pivotal for the Bli Bli community and its surrounding areas.
Scott Armstrong shared his enthusiasm about the new venture, stating, “We aim to redefine Bli Bli’s social and entertainment landscape with this community-centric pub. The locals have long anticipated this venue.” Bli Bli Hotel promises an eclectic menu centered around a live-fire grill, redefining classic pub grub.
Ray White Bli Bli Principal, Ed Hackenberg, weighed in on the developments: “The addition of the Bli Bli Tavern and Hotel is a testament to the growing appeal and vibrancy of Bli Bli. Such iconic establishments not only enrich our community’s social fabric but can potentially uplift property values and attract more residents to our beautiful area. It’s an exciting time for Bli Bli, and as a real estate professional, I look forward to the positive impact these ventures will have on our market.”
