First Home Buyers flock to 11 Girua Street Bli Bli

By Rachel Meyers

Positioned in a quiet location of central Bli Bli, on a great 601m2 block it was no surprise that this property attracted a lot of interest.

An ideal renovator built in the 70’s, set in Girua Street with four bedrooms,  one bathroom and a carport, this home was full of possibility, bringing in a range of buyers.

The property went to the market and within a two-week period, 42 groups attended the property through 4 inspections, 12 offers were submitted resulting in a final sale price of $530,000 to ‘first home’ buyer, Harry Beech.

Harry was over the moon with the result having bought in an area he referred to as ‘The Golden Triangle’. Harry stated that the location and distance to shops and a nearby bus stop is what ultimately appealed to him.

Principal (Ray White Bli Bli) Ed Hackenberg stated, “It is great to see so many first home buyers in the market at this time. There are many buyers in our large database, and if we look at this sale alone, there is now an additional 41 more groups of buyers that missed out on this sale and are now ready to be informed of the next.”

The sellers of this property were delighted also, “We spoke with other agents, however, Ed provided a clear strategy around the price we wanted to achieve, and he did not let us down.”

Ed stated, “According to Domain, and our own data, when we compare our market (Bli Bli) to the same period last year, there are 40% more buyers and 22% less stock. This was a great opportunity to move from some of the usual methods of sale and formulate a unique marketing and pricing strategy.”

11 Girua Street, Bli Bli sold by Ed Hackenberg & Rachel Meyers for $530,000 on 5 November 2020.
