The Dirt Has Turned – Parklakes II

By Ed Hackenberg

Planned development in Bli Bli is starting to take shape, with Parklakes II on the way. The area between Campflat Road and Kirra Road, will soon be home to 700 new residences and a new private school. The area will feature another lake system and a sports field to compliment the original Parklakes Estate. The school is believed to be a Prep to Year 12 Catholic School, which will attract many families to the area.

Bli Bli is strategically located with respect to imminent major Sunshine Coast infrastructure projects, including the Maroochydore CBD precinct (10 minutes), the Sunshine Coast airport runway extension (7 minutes) and the new Kawana multi-billion dollar hospital and medical precinct (15 minutes).

In addition, Bli Bli local development includes the new IGA and River Markets, and the new 18 hole Maroochy River Golf Course (due for completion in mid 2015).

Ed Hackenberg, Principal of Ray White Bli Bli, believes that this is all good news for what was once the Sunshine Coast’s best kept secret, Beautiful (and Booming) Bli Bli.
